Videographer/Film Maker Nathan Black and Expedition Organizer Brandon Sutton worked together in September 2010 going through days of footage from the expedition to come up with common themes that tell a cohesive story. Black compiled and edited the footage to create a 30-minute documentary that provides a compelling look into the oil spill aftermath and its impact on the local communities that we visited.

Throughout the film, the team offers commentary on their own perceptions of what they saw and heard alongside the conflicting feelings and emotions of the locals that they interviewed.  This work provides a snapshot of the variety of perspectives that are present in the region, and insights into how locals perceive the oil industry and the risks associated with oil exploration in the area.
